Download New 15" 2-Way Cabinet Plans
Hopefully you have been enjoying all the cool speaker plans we have been posting! The more successful speaker manufacturers continue to provide excellent plans and data for creating cabinets that sound great and are simple enough for the amateur builder to assemble.
Our latest speaker brand, LaVoce, has come up with a new series of 2-way cabinets that feature both ferrite and neodymium drivers. The plans are intense!
There are individual drawings with dimensions for each piece along with blow-up diagrams of the assembly process. These cabinets are not just four-sided boxes. They are engineered to specs to work seamlessly with the recommended drivers.
This blog features a new neodymium cabinet, the System F153.14N. It was designed to use the LaVoce WAF153.00 15" ferrite low frequency speaker that is rated at 500 W AES. The high-end is handled by a DN14.25T neodymium compression driver attached to a HD1403 80° x 60° bolt-on horn.
• Net Cabinet Volume l (ft3): 83.1 (2.93)
• Suggested type of wood: Baltic Birch plywood (18mm thickness)
• Other construction details (connectors , handles, wheels,...) are user's choice
Check out the plans and download your own copy here: Sistema F153.14N.
All the drivers are available on our web site:
